Spiritual Sundays

Happy Sunday All,

I LOVE Sundays. I didn't always. It's a special day that has meaning in my faith for sabbath and rest. It is also a time I and my family use to worship and reflect and move a bit more slowly. We are Christians. I do not hide it. I know that Christians haven't gotten the best rap lately. Truth is for many years, Christians have been so varied in how they practice and believe that very rarely do they draw others to the faith. Nobody wants to join people who judge, criticize, and accuse.

Many of us who don't judge or criticize (because we have a revelation of the love of Jesus) often find ourselves compromising how we communicate what we believe due to wanting to avoid being challenged on why we believe it. We avoid words like Christ or God and sub in words like universe or creator to make others feel comfortable. But here's the thing. I believe that God is for everyone, loves everyone, and desires for all to know Him through Jesus Christ. It's up to you how you choose to accept or believe.

On Spiritual Sundays, I'd like to be free to express some spiritual things that I ponder. There is no judgment for those who do not agree with me. I welcome the discussion, and I'll be the first to admit that I do not have all of the answers. I'm open to talking about what anyone believes. I just ask that we be respectful. There is such a thing as agreeing to disagree and still be friends! I just want to have a place to talk about what I think about and meditate on.

Until next Sunday, May peace and abundance be yours in the coming week!

Feel free to join me on Spiritual Sundays, or just the other days when we talk about other stuff. If this turns you off completely, then peace and blessings to you as you move on.

Until next Sunday,

May peace and abundance be yours in the coming week!
