About Me.

I am a librarian at the Triton College Library in River Grove, IL. I have served a as Triton College faculty member since January 2023.

 

This role has been a great honor as I work with students teaching information literacy and serve the college and community with library programming and community outreach.

 

Located just outside of the Chicago, IL city limits, Triton College serves the community by offering diverse programs to aid students who seek to transfer to four-year colleges and universities or enter the workforce in various fields. The Triton College Library serves the campus community and the community at large with a rich collection of physical and digital resources suited to aid in education, information, and leisure.

RESUME

I desire to leverage my experience and education to take on the professional challenges in information institutions such as libraries, museums, or educational environments. I am a librarian well-versed in sourcing and curating materials in an accurate and efficient manner. I specialize in library programming and outreach. I have excellent communication, instruction, and writing skills. I am successful at building rapport with people  and endeavor to encourage the development of critical thinking skills and self-development.

Motivated students towards learning and studying to build self-confidence and reduce the anxiety of failure in writing. Updated required logs and student documentation to keep records accurate and current.
